It all started with the creation of different products that addressed specific hair issues of our close friends.

We want to inspire confidence and provide knowledge to the modern woman to care for her hair with self-assurance, without chasing instant, temporary effects. Healthy hair takes time, but it is healthy hair that is truly beautiful.
The process is a development by Toso Montanari - Department of Industrial Chemistry at the University of Bologna, and is exclusively licensed to our longtime friends and partners at Fenbioks. This enzyme-based technology makes it possible to extract a large portion of plant bioactive compounds in the form of liquid ingredients. Molecular Biological Liquefaction (bioliquidification) aims to overcome the challenges of traditional extraction methods. By combining various plant treatments, it is possible to obtain multiple types of molecules, resulting in a rich and active plant phytocomplex.
Many of the ingredients we use are the result of adding a positively charged cationic group to an already known, proven, and tested ingredient. Adding such a group allows the ingredient to attach to the hair strand due to its negative charge. This way, the ingredient's ability to accumulate is increased, and its effect is multiplied many times over.
Using this approach allows certain ingredients to penetrate the hair shaft, such as Keratin. The process involves "breaking down" components into particles small enough to reach parts of the hair shaft that would otherwise be inaccessible.
Our team is led by a master pharmacist and includes a team of engineer-technologists. The company has a cosmetic product safety assessor qualified by the Brussels Free University.
ISO 22716 for good manufacturing practice has been implemented in production, and the company itself is audited annually for social responsibility according to the SMETA standard.

BIOPHARMA LABORATORIES takes serious measures in the fight to protect the environment. We have limited the use of electrical energy through alternative heating and cooling methods. Most of our machines are pneumatic, which means they operate not on electricity but on compressed air. The factory equipment is brand new and energy-efficient. We do not use drinking water. We source our water locally, filter it, and deionize it to use in our products.
